Regular Season Round 12: Partizan - Split 110-74

The game between closely ranked teams ended with second ranked SerbianPartizan 's (9-1) home victory over one of their biggest challengers Croatian Split (3-8) 110-74 on Sunday. Partizan outrebounded Split 41-18 including a 18-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Partizan looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Cameron Payne (188-1994, college: Murray St.) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and German forward Isaac Bonga (204-1999) who added 17 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Bosnian-Croatian forward Dario Dreznjak (204-1998) with 23 points and 5 assists and American center Jake Stephens (213-1999, college: Chattanooga) scored 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Partizan have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending Serbian champion maintains second position with 9-1 record having just six point less than leader Spartak which they share with defeated Split . Split at the other side dropped to the second place with eight games lost. They share the position with Ilirija and Mega BG.
